Comfortable and clean accommodations located near a variety of desirable neighborhoods. Rue St. Denis, Rue St. Laurent, Old Montreal, the Plateau and the Village are all nearby. It was very good value for money. At $200 for 3 nights- we got two large size queen beds, breakfast in bed and simple, yet clean rooms. We were not looking for luxury or a 100 channels on TV, so that was not a criteria. The rooms were well heated and the water in the bathrooms was hot. It was very centrally located- walking distance from all major shopping and sightseeing spots. I stayed in an apartment around the corner from Hotel Stay (part of owner's property as well). Location was great-not far from Park De La Fontaine-wonderful running/walking/biking paths there surrounded by trees. Two minute walk to Metro station. Great customer service! Despite some reviews, the location is excellent. Short walk from the
club district, and a 10min metro ride from the cities main attractions,
including Central station. There are the occasional pan handler, etc,
but you'll find these in any city, in subways, parks etc. If that
sort of thing bothers you, you probably shouldn't leave your house.
