This B&B is new and was opened in March 2013. Deborah Quartermain
was a wonderful host. It is very nicely decorated. The main floor has a
living room, and library with a flat screen tv. The rooms, especially
the bathrooms are very luxurious. There are three bedrooms, one with
ensuite, but the other two rooms have beautiful private baths down the
hall with in-floor heat. Bathrobes and slippers are provided for you.
The beds are very comfortable, the rooms air conditioned, telephone, and

The Quartermain House is a beautifully appointed home that is also warm and inviting. The bathrooms are fabulous and the bedrooms are luxurious and cosy, greeting you with a dish of chocolates upon your arrival. Debra Quartermain herself is the warmest and most generous host who makes each of her guests feel truly treasured and her 3-course breakfasts at her beautifully set table are a hearty and delicious way to start off the day. Should you have room, there are also cookies laid out for guest.
Where do I start? Debra has done an AMAZING job at this beautiful home. We really experienced this as a "home away from home". The house is gorgeous, and the rooms (we saw them all) are beautiful. We had the room with the large bathroom and we truly enjoyed it. The location is at walking distance from the downtown area, and being right across from the water made it a great walk. Breakfast was fantastic, we didn't want to leave in the morning. Highly recommended, other B&B's can learn someth.
We were made to feel part of the family. treated royally. the bedding and bathroom facilities were the BEST we have ever experienced in the coziest of historic settings. Debra's lemon glazed blueberry muffins warm from the oven and the chocolate cookies out for a late night snack are examples of the exemplary attention to detail found at the Quartermain House. we look forward to going back with friends and perhaps booking the house. it was TOTALLY delightful.
We LOVED this warm and elegant home. The host, Debra, could not have been more accommodating. You can see how much thoughtful care she has put into every detail. It is a treat to enjoy seeing her lovely home and it is very well set up for enjoying your own privacy. The exclusive bathroom was to die for - huge and every amenity. All rooms are decorated beautifully and we felt totally pampered! I wish we lived closer so that we could go there more often!.
Liked everything about Quartermaine House B& B from relaxing in the corner garden, hearing about the history of the house itself to the very filling and delicious morning breakfast. Quartermaine House is within an easy walking distance to the city centre and in the opposite direction to the University.
Deborah was very gracious and accommodated special requests, such as gluten free foods, with a smile. The decor and ambience was exceptional. Location also very convenient...walking distance to restaurants and the haunted hike. Breakfast was delicious!.
The house, the rooms (I got the tour) were fantastic. Comfortable and tasteful. The breakfast was first rate and overall terrific value. I would recommend this B & B to anyone. The renovated bathrooms were amazing.
Food was excellent and the bathroom's design was amazing. Nice bed. Really enjoyed chatting with Debra over breakfast. It is a lovely house, nicely done up and in easy walking distance to downtown Fredericton.
The Quartermain was excellent, the house is lovely and Debra was the perfect host. Great attention to detail, lovely breakfast. you would not know this was the first season, we would recommend it very highly.

Debra made the stay feel like a family gathering.Nothing was too difficult and the upgrade was the finishing touch. Debra has found that beautiful balance between work and lifestyle.

Our room was very clean and the bathroom was really, really nice - everything new. We´ve got a special breakfast (gluten-free) with delicious muffins. Would come back!.

We stayed 2 nights over the Canada Day long weekend, very nice rooms, walking distance to everything downtown and a gourmet breakfast. A great place to stay.
An interesting old house, well placed near the centre of Fredericton and Debra Quartermain is a friendly and helpful host. We couldn't have asked for more.

The bathroom was private, but separate from the room. However, it was recently renovated and beautifully done.

One suggestion would be to clarify when guests check in if there are parts of the house guests can use -- like the living room, for example. That wasn't clear.
