We chose the location as it suited us for travelling between the WW1 battlefields and as the B&B is in a quiet spot it became a relaxing retreat from a busy day out, the room was beautifully decorated and much more comfortable than - In one word I liked "EVERYTHING...!" Anne and Filip were fabulous hosts, going above and beyond their duty to make us feel welcome and relaxed. The layout of the B&B, the fantastic rural views, the small pond, the bridge, the doves, geese, black swans were like out of a romantic film. Overall the facilities are very highly highly commended. - The Aphrodite B& B was of 5 star standard with spacious rooms furnished to an exceptionally high standard. The host Heidi & Dirk were superb and most welcoming. The breakfasts were wonderful and would keep us going for the day. We would definitely stay there again. Ideally located for Ieper and the battlefields of the First World War. Dirk is a first class guide to the area.
