Well located for our reason to visit Shepparton Vic. ADirectly accross the street was the towns very modern rsl Club with excellent dinning facilities and bars. Hotel was easy to find, in good order and room was comfortable and clean. We broke down while staying there and needed a late bookout nothing was to difficult would recomend to anyone. Comfortable room. Relaxed dining area. Reasonable prices for both food and accommodation.

No staff attended to request noise be stopped. Bathroom needed to be renovated. Bathroom abit small & just seems like we read good reviews on hotels with owner or worker being kind and helpful, seems different with us almost because we are Polynesian! Annoying & very wrong!. Plug in wash basin not fitting correctly so could not fill basin with water for shaving. two light bulbs blew while staying. Nothing. The number of smokers (who were smoking outside the rooms) - the stench in the stairwell was overpowering. The ash trays was outside my room!!! Had to put on the air con to clear the cig stench from my room. Needs to be more lighting in the walkway to the stairwell. noise of motor bike.. Room was a bit small but clean. The hygiene standards in the kitchen depicted a third world country. The kitchen staff handled food with bare hands with no indication of tongs or gloves to prevent cross contamination. The "Chef" wiped the plates with a cloth that you would have reservations of wiping the floor with. "FACT" The food was not as described on the menu, it was frozen. . No hair dryer in the room. No gluten free options (e.g toast or cereal) in the bistro. I had trouble with the lock on my door - difficulty opening it. Disappointed in ther response of the receptionist (blonde girl). order twin room 2 nd bed not made up told to fix divan find blankets and pillows in cupboard and do it yourself ordered breakfast, was that slow walked out after 45 min. Didn't like the attached restaurant insisting to charge $1.50 to change my side dish from vegetables to salad with my steak. Totally unnecessary and a cheap way to increase the bill price. Smell in room from courtyard smoking, refusal of office staff to allow return to room 4 mins after checkout ( despite time being within hours before checkout eg before 10am)- needed bathroom but they ordered me to " go to the gaming room" public facility! I could see the cleaners were not yet near the room.
