For the small number of hours I used the room it was exactly what I wanted. I could catch the tram outside the door and come back the same way which was great.   The staff was awesome. The reception staff, kitchen staff, cleaning staff, all so friendly. It was clean, and the hotel is near the station, and very close to the famous Chapel Street (Restaurants/Shopping) Very good value for money, and the room was comfortable. The place was kept immaculately clean and the staff were assiduous and very helpful. They were extremely good in serving breakfast, which was another bonus, and the front desk team were very friendly and accommodating. I thought this hotel superb value. It is right beside South Yarra Metro station, which has very frequent service 6 minute to and from the central part of Melbourne.

  Most of our family stayed in cabins at the Warburton Caravan Park. This was not our style but just across the road is the Warburton Motel hidden away in the trees on the hillside. We had an upstairs room with great views across the valley. The room also had a door to the back balcony with a view of the gardens. The management was - The garden setting of the motel is stunning and sold it to us in the photos when we booked. It is very reasonably priced. Not a fancy motel, but very neat and clean with tea and coffee making facilities- perhaps should show that on the website photos. Friendly helpful staff. Asthma friendly- they agreed to clean the room without chemicals prior to our visit.
