I booked through letsbookhotel.com for a double / twin room and found on reading the print that a twin room could note be guaranteed. I emailed the hotel and was told that a note would be put on the booking and they would make every effort to accommodate my request. Breakfast was excellent with so many choices and healthy fruit juicing drinks definitely value for money for a 4 star hotel

  Beautiful apartment in a perfect location, straight across the road from Glenelg beach. The road in front of the apartment is pedestrians only - no traffic other than cycles so very peaceful.The complex has some very interesting nautical items outside which gives the place plenty of character.   Very clean and well appointed. Very nice kitchen for self catering. Liked the snack packs - a life saver (!) and the plunger coffee was wonderful - a nice touch. The flats were so central to everything. We hired a car but didn't need it while in Adelaide itself - only when we went to the Barossa Valley.   I especially liked the extra large size of the room. I liked having the mini-bar and snacks in the room, even though I only bought a couple of items, also all the little extras in the bathroom and kitchen. Staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you. - The proximity of the hotel in relation to the town centre and so on. I enjoyed the stay and the friendly nature of every single member of staff I met regardless of job title. Everything was clean, tidy and inviting and comfortable. I had the best nights sleep there I have had in a long long time. Very relaxed.

  We had a great stay, and were even upgraded for the two nights we were there, to the newer side - which had a great balcony right across the road from the bay, nice big room, really pleasant stay. The hotel is a hotspot in town, and the restaurant is very nice, right on the water (as is the hotel). The staff helped us make plans for tours, etc., a... was die leute sagen » nd we bothered them quite a bit :) but they were all very friendly! - We were given one of the newly redecorated rooms in the old part of the hotel and it was lovely. A beautiful view from the verandah and all the furnishings fresh and comfortable. With breakfast included we got a really good deal.

To top it off when we were checking out Mark Ricciuto stopped and initiated a conversation with us asking how we enjoyed our stay and spoke with us about our trip for 5 or 10 minutes. The location on the water but close to Adelaide; all of the facilities; the housekeeping (everything was spotless, glass shiny, etc.); the food was excellent and well presented; the staff could not have been more helpful and gracious. Finally the gardens were beautifully maintained, for any garden lover a real treat to wander through. If we are ever passing through this area we would not hesitate to stay at the Barn Accommodation.
