  It's basically a nice place. Staff are friendly, though I had no issues to deal with to see how they managed them. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was adequate. Man wohnt relativ zentral (nach Port Douglas sind es mit dem Auto ca. 10 Minuten) aber doch völlig ruhig und abgeschieden, vorallem fern der Hauptstrasse! Die Hütten sind sehr Gross und schön eingerichtet. Der Hotel Strand ist atemberaubend und das Restaurant ein tolles Erlebnis. Es ist eine tolle Sache um zeit mitten im Regenwald zu verbringen. Wir können die thala Beach Lodge jederzeit empfehlen jedoch sollten sie sich die negativen Punkte zu Herzen nehmen.

  The location was quiet and the views over the golf course and canal were lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was lovely and clean. The bar area, terrace and the restaurant were really good. Our meals, dinner and breakfast, were terrific with the staff interacting in a very friendly manner.   All the staff were fantastic, from the concierge and receptionist to the bar and restaurant staff. They were friendly, approachable, helpful & enthusiastic. The resort was very clean and pretty with lovely gardens and ponds throughout. The pool was the perfect temperature. Plenty of sun loungers and day beds. Swim up pool bar was a bonus. We requested a room away from the noise and was given one by the management which was good. Good cooking facilities and utensils as we did eat in for breakfast which suited us otherwise we would have to eat out 3-meal a day. Front desk staff was helpful.
