  Great value for money, really friendly staff. Great pool with excellent waterslide to keep the kids amused. Good shallow pool for toddlers. Nice deep sink in room for washing baby bottles, no need to wash them in the bathroom. Nice outside space on the ground floor - recommend ground floor rooms. - It was the perfect place to stay after a 3 days/... was die leute sagen » 2 nights cruise through the Whitsundays. The staff was super friendly with us and the facilities were delightful. We really rested while staying here and we would definitely return to the resort if traveling to North Queensland.

  Convenient location. Clean, roomy and comfortable accommodation. Good parking (very important), quiet room. Good "pull-in" driveway for being picked up by family or taxi.   Hotel is in a central position, staff were welcoming and friendly from check in. Food and service in the restaurant were excellent. Rooms whilst on the small side are simply decorated, all the essentials of bar fridge, tea & coffee included, plus a microwave oven. Property has a pool on top level, which we hope to use next visit.......excel... was die leute sagen » lent value! - I had a very comfortable suite, plenty of space, big bed with good mattress, fine cotton bedlinen; the bathroom was unusually large with walk-in shower. Real coffee with plunger in the kitchen area was a nice touch. Very helpful staff showed me the quick way to Central so I didn't have to cope with the hills from the city centre.

  I was there to relax after having surgery, we booked the place based on the price, my husband loved the pool just outside the room as I couldnt do much or walk far he made may trips down the steps and straight into the pool. the unit was lovely, set out well and very spacious - just what we needed. Decor beautiful in rooms & reception. Well maintained gardens & pool. Location was perfect for dining & shopping. From the moment we entered till we left we were made welcome & looked after. Highly recommend.

  I loved every second of being there but the best thing about my time up at the Q1 was a certain staff member. Kevin he made me feel welcome from the moment I checked and was great and really friendly, and he gave me the best service and I went back down to the lobby after I had a swim and just got to talk with him. I loved the activities that we could do (skyclimb, observation deck - breakfast lunch and dinner!) everyone was so friendly and welcoming! I would definitely come back!   Our room was neat, clean and nicely furbished. The location was perfect to the beach which was peaceful, clean and flagged. The Staff were helpful and friendly ( Espically Jack, who was professional, friendly and exceptionally helpful, a true asset to your business - he deserves a raise). Man wohnt relativ zentral (nach Port Douglas sind es mit dem Auto ca. 10 Minuten) aber doch völlig ruhig und abgeschieden, vorallem fern der Hauptstrasse! Gute Bar mit einem weiteren Aufenthaltsraum, hervorzuheben sind die frischen Kokosnüsse - Super Lage vom Hotel es ist ein echtes Erlebnis hier anzukommen. Die Hütten sind sehr Gross und schön eingerichtet. Der Hotel Strand ist atemberaubend und das Restaurant ein tolles Erlebnis. Es ist eine tolle Sache um zeit mitten im Regenwald zu verbringen. Wir können die thala Beach Lodge jederzeit empfehlen jedoch sollten sie sich die negativen Punkte zu Herzen nehmen.
