  The friendly relaxed atmosphere and such helpful members of staff! The restaurants food was delicious and very well priced. Only 4 beds per dorm room and as not peak season the lodge spread us out so we had rooms to ourselves. (One was given to a couple who I met in cairns whilst I was given a seperate one....really thoughtful). 10 main walk to to... was die leute sagen » wn and beach. I extended my stay! - The staff are excellent, chap I talked to used to run a 5 star hotel but now just works part time. Has kept his customer service level though.
