  With a 3 year old who loves water the pool was brilliant. The location of the units was also excellent being just 75 metres from the beach and 5 minutes walk into town. It was very quiet being off the main road and the upstairs rooms are shaded by treetops. - Apartments are very child friendly.   The room was fantastic and the people were very friendly. The dinner and service at the restaurant was well above what was expected, absolutely beautiful. The spa on the roof was checked and turned on every morning and they even check and clean the BBQ for you.   We are from Invercargill New Zealand and my husband, myself and 22 year old son stayed in a 2 bedroom villa for 5 nights. You absolutely could not get anything more spacious, clean, staff friendly and accommodating and perfect location, 2 streets from the main Village. The studio was very well equipped kitchen, bathroom and comfortable large bed. We over looked the garden with barbecue ,garden and pool. The staff are very friendly and recommended and booked days out for us. Would defiantly stay again. Port Douglas is a relaxed small town with great bars and resteraunts and good shopping.and the accommodation is in easy walking distance. The beach is a 5 minute walk.
