A very cosy place that was well furnished. Stayed in Ellenbrook Suite which had a nice spa bath in the bathroom (not sure furnishing of other 3 rooms). Breakfast was fantastic! Dirk and Pam were wonderful hosts! -

Basildene manor was faultless. The staff were wonderful, the grounds breathtaking, the room divine. We had afternoon tea of scones with cream and jam, and they were delicious. After months of backpacking we decided to treat ourselves to a bit of luxury, which we definitely got at Margaret's Beach Resort. Even before we arrived the staff were so helpful when we emailed to book a tour, and the welcome we got on arrival was brilliant. The apartment itself was fab and had everything we needed. Would definitely come back and stay for longer next time. Although it is a drive from Margaret river town it is right next to the beach and an all round great spot!!

This Motel was excellent and the rooms big and airy with big windows and rooms it was spotless in the rooms and bathroom areas a credit to the cleaners .The motel was a good walk into Margaret River town and all facilities .The breakfast was also excellent and served in a great area that overlooked a small lake with inside and outside dining. the B&B was central to the township, beautifully presented and full of character. The rooms were small, but clean, with excellent facilities.
The stay was a delight and I would say it was a highlight of our Western Australian trip. Congratulations to the owner/builder for rescuing an old icon of the area, and providing a most unique building.

This was a really quaint guest house in Margaret River. It has real character and was ideal for our 2 night stay in the area. The reception staff were very friendly. I liked the bathroom with a big stand alone bath and the little patio outside. Breakfast was also excellent. If you want something different from another "motel" type room, then it is ideal.

The Grange is perfectly situated in the heart of Margaret River, yet the surroundings give you the sensation of being in a quiet country setting. Our room was spacious and though the furnishings were quite dated this created a cottage feel that we quite liked. Location is good close enough to town to walk. Peaceful setting with a courtyard and a barbecue if desired. Lots of birds.
Not too big that there is going to be lots of comings and goings with people.

- the resort was fully booked when we were there and we didn't even notice anyone else around -
We did not stay for very long as we were on our way to Albany but I have to say the staff at the hotel was very helpful. And the room was great. Margaret River itself is very quaint. Loved the little cafe as you come into town and we visited the petting farm and had a whale of a time with the animals there. I would certainly return there if given a choice.
