Everything! I booked a studio apartment with harbour view, and asked for a room on a higher level, if possible on a corner (for maximum views). I had visitors from the UK and wanted to show them Sydney. They (and us) were blown away by the views of the harbour, bridge and opera house. Away from the noise of the city, but with the stop almost at the door, we were only a ferry ride from everywhere.
The apartments were clean and very comfortable and staff were very helpful. I have nothing negative to say about the place.

The location was fantastic, very easy to find your way to many of Sydney's activities. The hotel itself blended the historical building with ultra modern fittings tastefully. The bedroom was adequate and the ensuite was a decent size. The shower was large. The room we stayed in was able to be dark with the blinds down for a sleep in. The staff were very helpful and willing to help with anything requested of them. There wasn't much street noise even though there are restaurants and pubs all arou

Location!!!! It was extremely convenient. Opera house was a 2-minute walk away. Both the train and ferry stations were at the hotel's doorstep. Botanic Garden was also just across the street which was great. We travelled with 2 toddlers and the room was very comfortable and the balcony was great too. All staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend it. -
I loved the view, and the good sized balcony. I loved that there was extra milk in the fridge, most places I always have to ask for more, though there wasn't enough sugar (we are big coffee drinkers). The spa didn't work so they gave us free dinner in the restaurant as a compromise, loved that! oh and the bottle of bubbly sent up to the room after i mentioned we were celebrating my hubby's 60th birthday was just lovely, thank you! :) very happy

It was sheer pleasure to stay at Quay West! The Staff were friendly, efficient and attentive and bent over backwards to be helpful.
I ordered Room Service breakfast which was delivered hot and on time and it was everything and more than I expected.

Anderledy Lodge, part of the Mary MacKillop complex, is small scale hotel nestled among trees and gardens near the centre of North Sydney. The accommodation was simple and comfortable, there was plenty of space in the room which was cool on a hot day in Sydney! There were lovely little touches like a personalised greeting flyer with information about the property and I particularly liked the little Lint chocolate that was left as a treat. Great location for sightseeing and near the Rocks. The room was very well appointed, laid out and comfortable (including the bed). A few friends stayed at the same hotel and all thought the same. Being on a high floor facing George St away from the noise below was good. Having a balcony to step out was also a good feature. Would stay here again.

A good value for a studio style room. Kids have more room to play around. Cooking facility is good as well, good stay...lots of places to eat for lunch, but most of them are closed after 5:00pm. There is a Chinese restaurant just cross from the hotel, nice food, reasonable price. Hotel is located at waynird station exit, quite convenient!
