  Awesome garden area with hamics, a bbq with tables and chairs etc. Huge guest kitchen with everything required should you wish to cook your own meals. Everything was very clean. Overall very reasonable for the price. - The grounds of the hostel are just beautiful. We arrived in the evening and the late checking service was well organised.

  Our stay at the Friendly Hostel was fantastic. Gary was immediately helpful and attentive when he picked me and my girlfriend up from the bus station. Hostel: The hostel itself is nice and set up in a unique way -- the place is divided into separate units with a few rooms sharing their own bathroom, living room and kitchen. Staff: The staff is nice and hel - Spotlessly clean units each having shared facilities. Good accessibility to esplanade and trips to Fraser Island and Whale Watching. Gary was extremely helpful in giving us advice and booking our trips for us.
