  Spent the final two nights in Perth at Pier 21 (Executive 1-room apartment). I must say that it's the best decision we made. Right after the booking online, I was contacted shortly by Pier 21 directly to confirm the booking. I was allocated a river-view room on the 3rd level and the view was just splendid. Even my 2.5 - Generally: lovely and clean. Overall just what you want to walk into. Kids gasped and went 'woooh'! Loved the design of the executive Queen with 2 rooms: gave me a break from the kids and they loved having their own room! Furnishing and fittings were really nice. We had the room with a spa tub; the bathroom had a tub, a separate shower, toilet - I booked to stay at the Esplanade Hotel as a surprise for my partners birthday, we could not have been happier with everything, in particular the staff at the reception desk as well as the concierge were extremely polite and helpful.   Very comfortable living, good size and in a great location in the center of Fremantle. Restaraunts, bars, pubs and all of Fremantles attractions within walking distance and Perht is just a 30min train trip. Was very quiet even on a Friday night, was really suprised considering its location jsut off the main street.
