The rooms were also very bright and airy, and the balcony on the third floor is a great idea, perfect place to socialize and meet other travelers!! Being allowed to return to the hotel for a shower post-event is a service only Forrest H&A have been happy to provide me with (out of half a dozen other trips around aus). Will return again a 3rd time - Compact, clean, one-bedroom apartment with all the amenities - dishwasher, washing-machine, coffee maker (pods provided). Excellent location so close to Manuka. Despite the fact that our apartment was around the corner from the main building, room service was available (although we didn't try it). Extras included abundant parking, and a lovely outside grassed area. The hotel also offers gym usage for a fee at Rydges just down the road.

  Powerful Hot Shower. It's amazing that it is somewhat a rarity amongst Australian hotel / motel in this price range.(or the nxt one up, sometimes) We came back v late on the second day, informed the reception and we had a late check-out. They didn't INTERROGATE us on the reasons nor did we have to beg for it. No multiple reminder calls or threats ... was die leute sagen » to charge exorbitant extra hours either. Superb! The hardware in this hotel maybe a lil dated, but it is the software(service+attitude) that will keep - We were very happy with our stay, the staff on the front desk were just lovely as were all staff we had contact with. We ate in the restaurant both nights and were very happy with service food and price! Our complimentary breakfasts were just the icing on a lovely stay, thank you very much, we will be back and will recommend your hotel to others.
