  I cant speak highly enough of this place. The owner Jeff is extremely friendly and helpful, just a genuinely nice guy. He booked all of our tours for us, gave us great advice and helped us with anything we needed. The day we went to the great barrier reef he even gave us a cooler bag with 4 bottles of water and beach towels. The apartment itself (... was die leute sagen » 2 bedrooms) was beautiful. It was really big and very comfortable. It was spotless and looked brand new. The pool was lovely too and we had a BBQ here - The accommodation was clean and comfortable and having the use of the washing machine was very useful for us. The owner Jeff was very helpful and especially so when we had a problem with one of the excursions we had booked. He sorted it out for us so we were able to enjoy our trip as planned. The apartments are located towards the quieter end of the Esplanade about a 15 to 20 minute walk from the main area, however there are one or two eateries locally plus a convenience store.   The full kitchen and laundry facilities, close to everything. Modern facilities, nice pool (a lot of hotels in Cairns are very dated from the 1980s tourist boom I think). There was a mix-up when we were checking in and we were quoted a much higher price than we booked, but for a Harbourview room. Also, they provide all eco-products for laundry, dish-washing etc., not just the standar - Great location. Right beside the marina and very close to the city. Lots of choices of nice restaurants just downstairs. Staff are extremely helpful. Helped us with all the bookings of shuttle bus and site visits. The studio hotel apartment was great value of money. The ocean view from the balcony was fantastic. Can't wait to come back to Harbour Lights for our next Cairns holiday!

  Absolutely amazing place to stay, with great staff and superb accommodation. I arrived from my flight at about 5am, 9 hours before check in. This wasnt a problem, was shown straight to the guest lounge and was able to get some sleep and a shower and wait in comfort. The pool was gorgeous, the breakfast was superb, and the ho - We really liked the layout of Palm Royale and so many swimming pools from which to choose.There are plenty of options for ordering meals but they are brought in as I dont think there was a restaurant available to guests. Buffet breakfast is available on site. Red rooster is nearby and a shopping centre within close walking distance.Security staff constantly patrol the site. The room was very good value for money and we would stay again.

  It was our 2nd staying at the property and we enjoyed pretty much for twice accommodation there. It is a little bit different service style comparing with the big deluxe hotels, all the staffs here were all looking after us like family member, which made us feeling “ home away from home”. All - The location of the Bay Tree Hotel was perfect for our tansfer from the airport, the boat to Green Island for snorkelling and the Skytrain / Karunda rainforest expererience. The staff at the hotel desk were extremely helpful, polite and efficient. Breakfast by the pool on a nice sunny morning was perfect and added to our holiday. The room was perfect for the 3 nights we stayed, the confortable bed and the well equipped bathroom with walk in shower was very acceptable.

The apartment was huge, modern décor, well cleaned and maintained. As well as the pool facilities. The property is located just a few streets over from the CBD, the pier, the marina and the casino! David the manager was a great guy and went out of his way to provide advise on tours etc to make our trip successful. Would certainly recommend this property to anyone considering staying in Cairns.

  Das Hostel/Hotel liegt direkt an der Esplanade, so dass die City und die Lagune fußläufig in 5 Minuten erreichbar sind. Wir konnten unser gebuchtes Zimmer (Zimmer mit eigenem Bad) direkt bei der Ankunft im Hotel um ca. 13:15 Uhr beziehen. In den großen Hotels in Cairns ist dies erst ab 14 Uhr möglich. Das Zimmer bestand eigentlich aus zwei Zimmer... was die leute sagen » n + einem Badezimmer. Ein riesiger Kühlschrank war vorhanden. Das Badezimmer war süß und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es gibt einen Swimmingpool, es sind - Wir (Mitte 40) hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit Bad gebucht. Das einfach eingerichtete Zimmer war nicht riesig, aber für unseren Zweck (Ausflüge, Bett für die Nacht) völlig ausreichend. Zimmer und Bad sauber. Küche zur Selbstversorgung gut ausgestattet und sauber. Swimmingpool. Laundry gegen Gebühr. Gepäckaufbewahrung gratis. WLan gratis (bis 06:00 p.m.) im öffentlichen Bereich. Gratis-Voucher für Dinner.
