Actually, after all the "negatives" I had seen and read about "American Host Motel" (after I booked it), I was very pleased with everything about it. Yes - the hot tub wasn't working... Because they were in the process or replacing it with a new one. I would highly recommend this Motel to any one who is budget- minded and didn't need a 5-star Resort just to have a little travel fun with friends !.
所有评语 » The location was convienent for shopping and doing what we went there for, but not the cleanest place for the money we spent... Budget friendly. No frills but clean and comfortable. Had wifi and an indoor pool. Good location. -Unexpensive -Pool -Friendly host -Well situated. I like the stay but I hate the breakfast. It was convenient to everything. Staff was very friendly. Booked this motel over others because of the jacuzzi and indoor pool. Both were closed! Broken down. Owner would not compensate. more reasonable than others able to book for one night only. It had a vacancy-no bugs. Beds were comfy. The shower in our room. It appears that they are in the process of doing a lot of room "renovations" and updates. I slipped in the tub while I was taking a shower and hurt my ribs. With that being said - the tub/shower was spotlessly clean... Had it been dirty, maybe I wouldn't have slipped ! lol ! My recommendation would be to make sure that all tubs have non-slip "stickers" on the tub. First off we did not have a refrig in our room...when asked to bring one in, they left it outside the room door, we had to carry it in, and when I took my family to the pool, even though it looked like most of it was freshly painted, the tile on the inside walls of the pool was really grimmy and discusting... Needless to say, we did not enjoy our cooling off swim... We could not stay in the booked room because there was no heat, so ended up being somewhat uncomfortable in a smaller room. We did get a discount but ended up leaving early because we were uncomfortable. we would stay again only if it was only going to be warm. no outdoor pool. -Dirty sheets -The bed was not done as it should (reversed sheet) -Not enough hot water for a bath -Poor variety and bad quality in the breakfast -Hot tub was broken. The breakfast was awful. The milk was expired and none of the staff paid attention to that. They should not mention breakfast at all unless they lie. The continental breskfast was covered with ants coffee was cold I will never stay there again. The carpets were "sticky" I felt like I needed to wear shoes inside, towels needed improving and the television was old/furniture needed to be replaced. Air conditioner did not work correctly. One night we had none and the second night it was really cold. Customer service. Didnt care about our issues. noisy very late at night rooms not updated one room smelled whirlpool didn't work in pool area no paper towels in pool rest room. Staff wasn't helpful Overall run down Hot tub still not working- probably never will be Couldn't even get plastic spoon at non- breakfast hours Breakfast was pitiful-a few cereals, limited milk, a few tiny store bought muffins-wasn't worth the 1 min walk. Mold on ceiling and floor grout in bathroom. Outlets would not hold plugs for appliances and phone chargers. Continental breakfast was horrible, only toast and cereal. this room has a bad odor smell,spider webs by wall and floor not clean have to check out all the room make sure its cleaned out spiderwebs air freshner the room area not clean change the bed sheets. Rug dirty and sticky. Bathroom fixctures broken. Ceiling paint falling down. Bedspread and curtains dirty. overpriced.
