  The staff was quite helpful, and the manager seemed to have the solution to any issue that came up at her fingertips.   I was bringing my son back after the Easter weekend and didn't want to drive back home that evening. I also didn't want to spend a lot for basically just a night's sleep. We usually stay at the Atherton but when I went online they wanted $30.00 more for a room than than the Days Inn (that's my gas $ amount for my drive home!). I appreciated the complimentary coffee and the front desk staf - I participated in a conference at Penn State University.I was out the door ar 8am and coming back after 9 pm. I didn't have much time to take advantages of facilities. I liked the location, it was walking distance from Alumni building.I liked the fact that I could open the window to get fresh air and hearthe birds in the morning.

  I can't say enough about this place. I am always a bit leary when booking at a motel, but I need not have worried at the Nittany Budget Motel. To begin with, unlike a lot of other motels, this was not situated in "the middle of nowhere" off a depressing highway.
