  We had a great stay at the Inn at Sonoma . Perfectly located just a 3 minute walk from the square at Sonoma - with all its craft shops, restaurants, cafes, wine shops and art galleries yet set back off the road it is quiet .Complimentary wine and cheese 'happy hour' is a nice touch.   My wife and I stayed here 2 nights after spending a few days staying at a top rated hotel in Napa. We wish we had stayed here the entire time. The staff was great, the property was really unique and relaxing, and just a short 5 minute walk into Sonoma Square.   The front desk gave my wife an free upgrade to a wonderful room. The gym was better than most hotels/resorts--good surprise. The food at the dinner on the corner was delicious. The pool area was very relaxing. The resort provided a courtesy call a few days before our trip to arrange an appointment for spa treatments. My wife loved the 8:00 am yoga classes. Only negative was the noise at night (up until 11:00 pm) from groups gathering around the fire pit.
