  This hotel is very convenient when staying in Solvang. I loved the room, the staff, and the location. My only 'Con', and it's a small one, but if you offer a free continental breakfast - please leave the food out and available for the guests. I'm more than capable of making myself a bowl of cereal and grabbing a pastry and someone handing it to me instead doesn't warrant a t - It was a very convenient location to walk into Solvang. I was there for a wedding at the old mission and it was right across the street. I requested a quiet room and they gave us a room at the back off the busy main street. We ended up with a kitchen and separate dining area which we didn't use because we were there for one night. Didn't get to use the fireplace either but it would have been nice on a cold night. The staff was very friendly.

  The staff @ King Frederik was extremely helpful (I walk w/a walker) and couldn't have been kinder. The room itself was very clean and well kept. The location in town couldn't be better.   The staff was really nice and the egg enchilada that she made at breakfast was yummy. There were a lot of homey details about this place and I really felt at home with this stay. There were a ton of television channels and the WiFi worked okay. The hotel is also not that far from town and since all the parking in town is free, it worked out won... 别人怎么说 » derfully. The bathroom looked to be new and the room also had a fridge and air conditioner. - The woman that greeted us was very friendly and eager to help us with directions, suggestions for dinner and anything else we needed. Breakfast was warm and just out of the oven. Everything was delicious and the kitchen was adorable..... Fresh flowers on the table and a view of the garden. We had a nice night ..wish we could have stayed longer........but I think we will return in September for our anniversary
