The location was superb, right across from the beach, Stearns Wharf and yacht club. Lots of excellent restaurants within walking distance as was Old Town. Close to many wine bars. Offers nice buffet breakfast. Staff exceptional, especially Mynor at the front desk. Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends. Friendly and helpful staff, quick check in, room ready early. Great ocean view, large conveniently positioned car park ($3 per day), good location at marina end of beach. Good selection of breakfast foods, plenty of seats and tables. Tea, coffee and fruit available all day. Fantastic beach - great walks .

Staff helped us with supplies we had forgotten.( like toothbrush and toothpaste) Basic room was well thought our - floor plan had room for all 4 suitcases vanity in bedroom had blow dryer Not in the bathroom. Friendly staff and excellent location so close to beach and walking on the shore. Excellent restaurants nearby and comfy bed. The pool was warm and there were nice so cal touches with lots of planters and color furnature in the hallways. Very friendly staff and helpful!! Breakfast was great! Enough food, drinks and fruit throughout the day! Pool was great!! It was plesant stay because my wife and I took part in the avon walk for breast cancer and we needed. The entire staff was excellent with lots of recommendations when I asked. The breakfast buffet staff was without question the VERY BEST. Constantly cleaning and restocking - all with pleasant smiles and GREAT attitudes. excellent facilities, breakfast very good. all staff were very friendly including the chambermaids. good pool and convenient for shops and beach activities. room clean and full of facilities, brill overall. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Because of the layout of the motel I was worried that it would be noisy, but they took special care to be sure the guests were quiet. The location is the most important thing - it locates in the middle of harbor and wharf. The breakfast was surprisingly good with great variety. Staff were especially helpful and cheerful. Also enjoyed the coffee and cookies each afternoon/evening. Handy location for non-drivers. Good location by the beach and within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the university. My room has pool level and pool side which was a nice location. It was old and the furnishings were "aged" but not so bad that I would not return. everything was cool. There were some issues with our heater/air conditioner. When we turned on the heat one night, we found only cold air blew on us. We turned it off and bundled up instead, but noticed it again on the day we left which was the coolest day of our trip. The staff was helpful in fixing it, but would have been better if it had simply worked the way it was supposed to to begin with. Also, the shower leaked. You have to pay additional for a parking (it wasn't advertised on letsbookhotel.com) and parking locates quite remote from hotel rooms. This older building has a few maintenance problems, but staff were quick to react to our initial concerns, so we didn't hesitate to stay for 4 nights ... and would gladly go back again. Very basic breakfast. Strange sign on the pool, asking people with "cryptosporidium" (look it up) not to use it. Is this some local or CA state thing? Never seen it before, and it made us so NOT want to use the pool. A little noisy with street traffic and kids on upper floor running around. There is no relaxing place during the winter times. Besides that, not to complain about. Nothing. Right on a busy corner, so lots of traffic noise. To noisy to open the patio door. N/A. Bit noisy at night with students coming back from bars/clubs - we might just have been unlucky?. Double bed was a little small for two however I should consider this when booking. Handicap parking was limited and inconvenient to the elevator. Breakfast area was small. Nothing. The soap in the shower was used when I got there. Little room for breakfast. I didn't like the sink area because there is an opening above the mirror to the room itself. When you turn on the light to the sink area in the middle of the night, it shines into the room as if it were a ceiling fixture. My sisters were not happy with me for waking them... Also, I wished the balcony was large enough for chairs; ours wasn't. Outdated carpet and bathroom fixtures. Morning noise. breakfast was ok, there's room for improvement. the price its good but not for what i paid. N/A. Nothing. Price (but it is Santa Barbara); no room safe. breakfast space is very small. Cold shower in the morning. Very expensive and small pool.
