  It was much quieter than staying downtown, with easy access to the bus and not far from Golden Gate Park by car. Good restaurants within an easy walk.   There is no negative thing i would mention. The room was new and clean. Breakfest ok. Really good position of the hotel is just perfect (about 10min to the Town Hall)! The park place is small but all the guests found a place while we were there.   The staff was very friendly and flexible when our plans changed. Parking facility was excellent and secure. - The room was super clean, oversized and the tub drained!! :) Parking was limited but free! The free coffee was better than Starbucks! The hotel is only a block from the bus to get to Pier 39.

  We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during our journey around the West Coast and had a pleasant stay at this hotel. We stayed on the second floor which had a small dining area and outside patio which we used alot. The room was a bit on the small side but had everything we needed and was clean. Location is great. It's an older hotel that could use updating, but it's clean, staff is friendly and it has free parking. It's perfect if you do not plan on spending a lot of time in your room. We left every morning by 9am and came back around 7pm, so it was perfect for the amount of time we spent there. It was a 10-15 minute walk to Fisherman's Wharf and 4 blocks to the top of Lombard where it becomes the crookedest street. Easy walk to catc
