The sofa bed actually had 2 separate beds, so we could have had m - I stayed here very recently for six nights while attending a conference downtown. Let me say it was totally worth the extra effort and cost in cabs to get downtown ( half hour by bus, 15 minutes 13 bucks by cab). The staff is friendly, courteous, and professional, from the cleaning staff, valet parking attendants, front desk folks and management. I get the feeling people love their jobs and want to deliver good service to the guests. The bar downstairs is awesome and deserves its own review. On

I loved how close it was to so many areas of SD. The pool area (with the firepits at night!) looked wonderful, but it was so windy so we didn't stay. I also loved the old pictures throughout the hotel. If you are from SD it was particularly super to see them.

  I'd like to endorse what other travellers have said about this hotel, the staff are great, the rooms are nice and the cookies are fabulous. But for us the best thing about cci is its location pretty much in the middle of Orange. Come out of the hotel and turn right and you go toward the Hotel Del and lots of shops and places to eat (can recommend ... 别人怎么说 » the seared Tuna at Tent City and the crab stuffed giant prawns at Brigantine). Turn left and you end up at the ferry landing, again with shops and eat - We loved that they were pet friendly, but didn't charge a huge fee like most places do. They gave us a pet gift bag with treats and poop pickup bags for our dog along with a list of pet friendly places to eat in walking distance and doggy day camps in the area. We will DEFINITELY be coming back and recommending this hotel to our friends that have pets. Also we loved the gorgeous bathroom and shower!
