It was clean and you had everything you needed. All new linens every day and well maintained. Security on site in the evenings was a plus.   It is very close to the airport (about 1mi) although driving from the airport is about 2.5 miles.   We had a wonderful time staying at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, San Diego recently from March 11 to 14. The facilities were excellent. Our bedroom was nice and the bed was comfortable, and coffee making was provided. The pool and hot tub facilities were clean and comfortable, especially the large hot tub which can take 14. If you need something for room, just call and ask. Friendly staff. Got $5 coupons for each member (5) towards San Diego zoo. Could get noisy due to it being family friendly but that is expected.
