Very comfortable accommodation, very helpful staff and super relaxing. Kids particularly liked the waffle makers, the cookies and the pool. On top of that we liked the 24/7 tea and coffee, the gym, the iced (cucumber was a nice touch) water, the spa and the wide variety of choice at breakfast, particularly the fruit salad. We were given great directions to places round the city. Local malls had great shopping and all the restaurants we ate in were superb. Good to have recycling bins in the.
所有评语 » This hotel is very comfortable, well-appointed, clean and has excellent beds! The Hampton line of hotels are consistently excellent and the staff was wonderful as well...even calling to ensure everything was fine and recommended an excellent local pizza and pasta restaurant with free delivery for dinner when they found out we were just going to stay in for the night. We loved the staff. The pool was nice, but the hot tub was down for maintenance. Shuttle was quick and the driver very helpful and professional. When I called the front desk due to loud neighbors at night, they immediately responded and the noise stopped. Service was exceptionally prompt and courteous. Cookies served every evening at the front desk. The staff was quick to respond to each of our needs and requests. Breakfast buffet with different hot items each morning, as well as make -your -own waffles. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They answered questions and were empowered to make decisions which was refreshing. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Breakfast offered an ample choice for each member of our group. The staff were super friendly & helpful. The facility offered a great hot/cold breakfast buffet. Checking in & out was very easy and efficient. My kids loved the heated outdoor pool. If I'm being picky, the toilet paper was a little at the cheaper end of the market. The only thing that didn't get an Excellent mark are the location and value. This is because the location of the hotel is not in a nice area with a gentleman's club practically next door. It is convenient to Hwy 5 and the PCH, but we didn't like the area at all. The other problem was the price. For a last minute deal the hotel was over $300 for the night which I would expect in a much nicer area, but was shocked for this area. The location is a little rough. There were lots of vagrants and several strip clubs around the area. Not ideal for walking around with children, but the hotel itself felt very safe and secure. Having a car would have helped. Mildew stains around outer base of bathtub, stains in carpet. The bathroom could use a magnified makeup mirror and new blow dryers. The mattress was too soft and had the beginning of a sink hole in the middle. Other than that, very comfortable. Thin walls and simple windows resulted in hearing every little noise from outside and from the neighbor room, which is however common for usa. The breakfast area is small for a busy weekend... Had to share the table with strangers, wich was OK for us, but not ideal... We had a room close to the pool. After being exhausted all the day, we were expecting to have a quite night, but kids were shouting in the pool till 10pm.Pool closing time should be earlier. for the price minor things could be ignored such as awkward entrance from freeway . watch out as multiple lanes merging with a short distance to exit could cause accidents. Felt totally safe in hotel but bit sleazy in surrounding street. Noisy early in the morning because our room was across the ice machine. Aside from that it was great. Nothing. Paying for parking. That I had to get up to make the flight at 5am! Should have had a reataurant. Paucity of handicapped parking. Loud air conditioner/heater. Since the walls were thin, sometimes it was a little noisy, specially in the beginning of the night. There wasn't a fridge in the room so we could keep left overs. Paying for parking??? Just add to room charge. Cant believe I am a guest and pay for parking as well. Very crowded and no free seats for breakfast at weekends. Surrounding area is old industrial, not too safe to walk around. Parking!!! Hard to find a parking place and then to be charged $10.00 per night was a bit much. Surrounding's were not what I expected with the price of the hotel. The pool opened too late and closed too early. parking lot tight, internet weak, people in the courtyard talking until 2 am several nights. Noisy, didn't appreciate next door neighbor taking a shower at 5:45 am, sounded like he/she was in my room. Room was dark. They were renovating when I made the reservations and I was told it was near completion and 8 months later when we arrived there they are still working on it. Paying to park rental at hotel. Perhaps the location but wouldn't deter from booking again!. Kids week. Breakfast area was a messy zoo. Room at back next to crane business....beeping of equipment backing up very early in morning hours. There was construction in the lobby once we showed. All the nude clubs in the area. Breakfast although free, could have been a little better and the breakfast area was to small. The rooms would have benefitted from free bottled water. I believe there was a tear in the shower curtain. Also the drapes in the room needed to be cleaned. Plastic plates etc.at Breakfast.
