Great Value, everything was clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, Staff was super helpful with any needs. Seconds from the airport dropped several family members off for multiple flights and was there and back in under 10 min, 15 min to downtown. The staff were very nice and the room was pleasant. It was reasonable and close to the airport. It was clean and I liked the fact that they were pet friendly.

Large room, desk, and close to airpirt and rental car returns. I thought staff was great .ROOMS GOOD SIZE. I enjoyed the clean room and new look. The proximiy of san antonio airport. The location. Price. Nothing. Access to hotel a little funky but the whole City traffic system is like that. No pools or spa, but hey its a value hotel. Ask for Irons or blow dryer before you take yor shower, They have them but you need to get them from the front desk. There was a little problem with their computer for guests locking and freezing but that had nothing to do with Red Roof Inn. They also have an occasional problem getting a shuttle driver but they reimburse on cabs, so that works out. They are really lovely people. A little dirty, no real deal-breakers, but rather, for example, there were still crumbs on the desk/counter and a dirty band-aid on the bathroom floor. Also, the halls smelled musty. For what it was for, a quick one-night stay-over to sleep and get a shower, it was worth it. I'd do it again if need be, for a short stay. There was no hair dryer , weird smell in the room, not horrible , but just weird ). Quite a journey to car rentals then back to Red Roof Inn. Thought it would be closer, but probably 10 miles and around 45 mins. I did not like having a swimming pool, breakfast available and game room. Activities in surrounding rooms were very audible. the bedding had not been changed. My wife could smell that someone had slept there the night before and bedding was not clean. We asked for new bedding the next day and it was changed. Front desk staff was very understanding'. Noisy air conditioner. The room smelled like mildew carpets. Noise of aircondition. No breakfast, no snack machine, no nearby restaurants within walking distance. Airport shuttle stops after 11 PM. Bed sheets felt damp, clock wasn't set. No breakfast. I liked everything. No swimming pool. No breakfast. No complimentary breakfast no smoking rooms. Location not much near by. No hair drier, iron, fridge, or coffee pot in room. The amenities were mentioned in the booking but not available. The location is getting worse and worse...there is no easy way to get to the hotel without going through a bad area. I am sorry to say but I think it was our last stay there... Polite but not overly friendly staff, as a traveller from overseas it would have been nice for them ti volunteer a little conversation, information on the hotel or area. I didnt like that it had smell to it because of large dogs they allow there. Plus rooms do not get cleaned good i found things under bed that was trash from someone else. No breakfast and the ice machine downstairs was broken. No iron no hair dryer, however these can be obtained at the desk. It was a outdoor room and hot. The carpet smells so bad. Amenities ( only about 10 T.V. Channels) shower head with poor water pressure, cramped beds (double beds) I cut my foot on a piece of broken glass on the carpet. Hot/Cold handles were reversed (cold came out hot...hot came out cold) my daughter got scalded because of it. Not clean before check-in. No pool area. The staff. A little room no hair dryer, no iron, I found two insects one spider and one cockroach. we was A bad experience there. Dirty bedding, reported the bedding to the day staff but nothing was done. Are room smelled like smoke. beds were unconfortable. bed sheets were dirt. cleaning people did do a good job. the room that I was in was very small.
