  the cottage was so cute. the spa was lovely and the bath just a treat. everything needed was there including extra little touches like coffee and filters and fire starters and wood.   Patricia is an awesome host. We really felt like part of the family during our stay. Everything was very homely and comfortable and the location great for walking into hilo town itself for a beer and for exploring the sites of the big island. Oh and the breakfast is great too. - Perfect place, we loved it here. Patricia has a lovely home and she rents out rooms to guests. So this is more a homestay than a hotel. Everything was clean and cosy, and breakfast was definitely the best we had in Hawaii!!! Take a close look at the address and a map before you go though, because there is no sign on the house.
