  My daughter and I went to McAllen for a wedding, so we were not in the hotel much. However I enjoyed the amenities, the breakfast, pool, and hot tub. this was a very enjoyable stay. - We love staying at the embassy suites hotels breackfast is great! And also the spicy "NEW" sauce

The only negative was one front desk person who forgot to write down my request for shuttle service to the airport. Good thing I checked back the night before we were schedule to depart.   Entire staff was friendly, helpful, and made our stay "fun" and relaxing...spent a lot of time in the indoor hot tub and enjoyed wine on the patio, visiting with other guests.   My stay was great. However, maybe they need to fix the door where it cant be open from the inside when the lock is on cause a 2 year old could easily slide out of the room :-( - Location convenient to the Galleria and I- 635 / us 75 convergence.   The room was nice, cool, comfortable. The whirlpool tub was the reason for paying the high price. The clerk at check in and out (same person) was awesome! - Friendly staff, clean room, good breakfast, free parking, close to Texas A&M. - The rooms were awesome, staff was friendly and the restaurant was not overpriced.

  It is not listed, so to add it here.. Coming through the door and being greeted was a feeling like you have just dropped in on a friend. The Holiday Inn staff at North Austin made me feel at ease, relaxed and this was wonderful.
