  The seductively low prices led us to think we would be in a bog standard motel. It is much superior. The breakfasts are proper set-you-up jobs and keep you firing for hours.   We were just several blocks from downtown, on the city bus route. City bus fares are excellent in San Antonio for seniors. It was also just 4 blocks from the Amtack station. The neighborhood is on a fringe area but we (2 men) felt safe.   It was right down the street from the club lounge I had my birthday party at. The breakfast in the morning was aplus to the low cost to stay in a very clean and friendly atmosphere. - I appreciated the price. San Antonio on a weekend is very expensive and this place offered an affordable rate.

  I was highly impressed with the Days Inn and Suites. When I walked into my room, I could not believe all the amenities such as an iron, microwave, and refrigerator. These are things that you seldom see in motels. I also was impressed with the breakfast hours and choice. The time, 6:30-9:30am was convenient, especially for my "sleep in" attitude. Also, it only took me 12 minutes t - I live two hours from airport and had an early morning departure then very late return flights. This hotel is very convenient, economical, and offers free shuttle as well as free parking. Room 214 was extremely clean and I judge this by whether the baseboards are also clean. The young lady Karen?, was extremely kind and was on duty both nights I stayed. She was also an excellent shuttle driver.
