  It was indeed a memorable stay for two weeks at this motel. Both Mr Sean and Mr Jake were too good a person to take care of their guests and they made my stay very smooth.   The whole experience, albeit just for one night, was comfortable, clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful when asking about getting to Mt. Rushmore.   We upgraded to a small suite when we got there so that we could have a view of Mt. Rushmore and a balcony. It was worth the money and very accommodating.   Do not be put off by first apperances, the Inn looked like it was an army barracks at first with it's matt red doors and railings, but we had a room with balcony that had very nice views. Rapid City is an excellent place to stay, downtown with it's small individual shops and bars are a delight. Go to the beer bar in Main Street. To - I loved how clean and comfortable the hotel was. They gave us a $5 coupon for breakfast at the restaurant on property and the breakfast was great. I would definitely stay at the hotel again if in the area.
