We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the The Giacomo over the July 4th holiday weekend! The staff and residents of the hotel were all very friendly.We arrived early for check-in and our luggage and car was promptly taken care of until our room was ready. We were given a great recommendation for lunch at a local cafe, Murphy's on Third which was within walking distance.

I especially liked the friendly and helpful staff. The welcoming atmosphere when we first arrived was very nice. The location is close to some scenic views, a lake, and a resort area, yet it is also just off the interstate. -

The valet service was not so good: goofing around, unable to find car keys, and generally young, inexperienced and without a mature leader in the group setting standards and bringing the others along.
