  I love the location and the ambiance, the house reminds me of home because I used to live in this neighborhood when I lived in Brookline in the 60's and 70's so it was like going home.   The views of downtown Boston from the B&B are fabulous. The location is great - close to the t stop making Boston very accessible and near a great running trail and kiddie playground. The owners, Maggie and Joey, were very personable and accomodating as we have 2 young children (ages 2 and 4). - Lovely old property in a very pretty spot, accessible by public transport from Boston ( the bus drops you off right outside). The view is also stunning. Magpie is a wonderful host, attentive without being overbearing and the food is excellent. She is also very good at giving full and detailed information on how to get to the B&B in advance. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

  We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean however could have used some different curtains to darken the room for sleeping. The kitchen staff, ( wish we asked her name) were excellent and went out of her way to make sure everyone was happy. In fact so much so, that we wondered if she was the owner. And the location was just a minute walk from the beautiful Kennedy Walking and biking trails. - The fabulous staff, from the innkeepers , including the chef and housekeeping made you feels as you were guests in their home.
