  The room was clean, more than adequate space for 2 people, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We were going deep sea fishing the following morning, and the location was the best we have had in years in OC. We were in close proximity to Layton's Restaurant which serves a 6 a.m. breakfast. My husband and I will recommend the King Charles to anyone who is looking - The King Charles Hotel is close to the beach. The room was very clean and the housekeeping staff paid a lot of attention to detail. All of the staff was very friendly. There was coffee available each morning. It is a very homey environment, and I enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning. The hotel is nothing fancy, but it is priced accordingly for what it offers. There is also parking available, which is a huge plus for Ocean City. I would definitely recommend The King Charles Hotel.

You get a real flavor of Baltimore at its best here (I grew up here).
