  The sleeping rooms were nicely appointed and clean. The Inn's facade is reminiscent of colonial days (Georgia was the 13th colony) and is situated on a famous square. The Inn is located in a residential area, which was perfect for my group because it was quiet. The made-to-order breakfasts were tasty. Who doe - A wonderful adaptation of a handful of terrace houses into a comfortable B&B. Lovely rooms, helpful staff, clean and welcoming. Cold tea and baked goods when we arrived and a breakfast that was excellent compared to the rubbish served at most hotels. I liked the location. Very quiet and right in the historical centre just near a stop on the free city shuttle If you wnat a ride home at the end of the day. Lovely place to stay.

  The valet parking at 14.95 per night was well worth it. The continental breakfast buffet each morning was plenty to get by on. Breakfast was great... Room was clean and comfortable. The rooms were small but to be expected for a Bed and Breakfast. We took a cab from Amtrak and was only $10. At the end of the trip my wife stated that we must come back and stay at the same place again..

  The staff was so friendly. The concierge that was on duty on 12/15 REALLY impressed me. A young homeless gentleman came in as we were checking out. The concierge treated him with the same respect as he did every other person that walked in. That really left an impression on me!! We enjoyed our stay there immensely.   The Gastonian is simply the most lovely place we've ever stayed. Our room on the 2nd floor was gorgeous, peaceful, spacious, light, with lovely furniture and plenty of storage.
