  Pool was under construction so we were disappointed when we found out because that is one of the reasons that we choice your hotel for the indoor pool; but after taking with the front desk they said we can have passes to the recreation center there. The free shuttle service is a plus and takes you to the downtown area so you don't have to worry about driving your car downtown.   Liked the courtyard, ask for a courtyard view if you can. Loved the ecological attitude, recycle bins, refillable toiletry containers in the shower, colored washcloths for makeup removal, etc. Don't be fooled by the name, the architecture is lodge-like, but the location is urban. - Very comfortable room and bed. What a pleasant surprise when I went I went to my room and found furniture that one might find in a bedroom at home. Not the usual drab, cheap, hotel furniture in most hotels. The last time I was in Salida I stayed at a nearby hotel that literally has 2 x 8 boards attached to the walls & covered with wood grain contact paper. Yuk. Anyway,

  The room was amazing and very clean. I was there with my daughter and her friend and my friend for the one direction concert, loved the set up of the room and felt very safe and comfortable. Access to the rail was simple and easy and staff at front desk were very helpful and kind.   Everything is great - although I feel it's a bit pricey we continue to stay with you because of the staff, the cleanliness etc, oh the free breakfast is also a plus. Thank you! - I liked that they have breakfast in the mornings and a bar/lounge at night. That is uncommon for a town this size and makes it great for socializing.
