The hotel was very clean and the staff were always friendly/helpful. It's location was great. Only 7/8 minutes walk to the "Village" shopping area with some really different shops and lots of bars/restaurants to choose from. The beach was only a further 5 minutes walk from there. Buses to the pier area were very regular and only took 10 minutes (and only cost $1.50c). The whole package of hotel/location was brilliant.
所有评语 » We stayed for 5 days to visit our daughter and it is conveniently located. The price was excellent and although it may not be fancy, it had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Breakfast was good, with a lot of options. The staff was very friendly. We would definitely stay there again, when we visit our daughter. Convenient location for a trip to LA, free parking, close to the beach, nice breakfast included. Bikes available to go to Redondo Beach for free. Cool place definitely!. The service was excellent. I stayed 4 nights and once when I asked for some items, it was provided in a very fast way. The breakfast was good. The staff was excellent. Location, Staff professionalism Comfortable beds. Good for relaxation, transport close. - Rooms - Close to the Beach. For a hotel of this size, the breakfast area was extremely small and seats were very hard to come by (even allowing for the fact that a lot of people sat outside round the pool area. We had to leave and return 3 times before we could sit down and eat. The alternative was to eat and drink standing up which wasn't really an option. Saying that, the breakfast was complimentary so perhaps I shouldn't moan too much, but I just thought it let an otherwise very high standard slip just a bit. I do not see, really... The TV options. Very limited cable choices and no TV guide to say what was on. The TV screen on the major stations was okay, but the connection to cable was often poor. Breakfast area too small and very busy at times. Found a hair bundle or two in the bed sheets. Obviously have been washed just need to clean your dryer lint trap. I'm 26 and they were all greys. Hard to notice where the thermostat/cooling unit was. Put it in the room info book. Also only could find one wall outlet and it was next to the sink. Not the best place to charge a phone or computer device. Still an excellent stay. A good half an hour drive to most downtown - Santa Monica, Hollywood, universal etc. still manageable with a car. Nothing. The breakfast was lovely but plastic cutlery and paper plates?. Pool hours..could be open till 11 pm. No wake up call even though requested Tip jars all over the restaurant for breakfast. (Over-kill). Continental breakfast did not start until 6:30am. The coffee machine was never cleaned out in the mornings. This hotel pops up for LA bu don't forget you are in Redondo Beach, thus any location in LA might be an hour away. Poco lugar para el desayuno. Not massive issue, but room quite dark. They didn't get to my room for cleaning until 3 pm - when the toddler needed his nap, thus, no housekeeping service for us! Also, we had the a/c blasting the entire time and it never really cooled off. Maintenance came by to look at it and we were told that's as cool as it gets!!. Breakfast room was cramped. pool was small and at side of hotel next to car park. A long drive into downtown LA. 20min walk along busy road to beach. Got spiders in my room once Hoyse keeping staff left my room open once Coyldnt get mobile telephone service Poor internet. Could be cleaner. Pool was small and hot tub was sandy. The breakfast room is too small. If you have luggage and get a room far from the elevator it is hard to access the room. Not enough parking space close to elevators make it hard if you are over 50. Old place Tiny pool Outdated rooms Far away from the attractions of greater LA. A bit to far from the attractions. - Hair in Bed on the first night. The choice of channels on the TV were nothing. The pillows on the bed were so small I thought they were horible and very uncomfortable. The noise factor was bad kept me awake with AC's going on and off and noise from other rooms. The parking by the time I got back from my not so happy event I had to park around the building and walk to my room at just 8:30 at night WOW. Was not a good stay. Room was not cleaned second day, outside corridor hotel looks much better on website than in real.
