Less than 5 minute walk from 2nd street station, close to the visitor's centre. Sheets provided were fresh and clean. Everything is well-maintained. Access to the staircase leading to the dorms and the dorms is by password, so it felt secure. Compared to other hostels, this one was peaceful and quiet and conducive for rest and getting sleep after a long day. The lights in my dorm went off by 11pm on both nights. Breakfast (cereal, milk, coffee) was included in the stay. The utensils and cooking.
所有评语 » This place was amazing. the location is close to major attractions, there are many restaurants and cafes in close proximity. The staff are really helpful and welcoming. Although the male dorm has at least 14 beds in one side, people were respectful and quiet all the time. The lockers made the stay safe and the bathroom, shower room were very convenient. Definitely one of the best-stocked, most accommodating hostels I've ever been in. Kitchen fully stocked with utensils and appliances for a very affordable long stay, cheap stuff to do most nights, really nice staff, really cool decor and space! If you're visiting Philly for history (Independence Hall, Liberty Bell...) it couldn't be a better location!. - Amazing Hotel. I would recommend it to any solo or group traveler who want to meet new friends and enjoy staying in Philly. - the crew were so good and friendly. they enjoy helping you at any thing you do in your staying period. - well cleaned rooms. The hostel has a very nice and easygoing atmosphere. The people are extremely friendly and do a really good job at getting people together. The infrastructure is very decent and well maintained. The location in the Old City is really nice. the kitchen is well furnished and very clean. The hostel is clean and calm. The staff is nice and very helpfull. There is a bathroom for each room and an other spare one in the basement so no need to wait for a hot shower !. Great staff ,knowledgeable and helpful. Common areas conducive to meeting other people with a really well stocked kitchen. All the dorms and bathrooms were clean. Overall a great hostel in a fantastic location!. great value for money. laundry, n drying for 5 bucks only "movie night" at 8 pm every night free beer during movie night theme nights other nights very nice and well equipped kitchen free luggage keeping. Banks Street where the hostel is located is a small short street with little activity going on, even in the day. I felt rather insecure walking into the street to get back to my hostel when it got dark. Expect to stay with at least 14 people next to you in the male dorm which technically accommodates at least 30 people. If you're going to visit a university, like I was, just be aware that the hostel is in East Philly, not West Philly, where Drexel and UPenn are located. I ended up carrying my bag all day before check-in because making it to that side of town was inconvenient. - A guide of how to reach the hotel from the train station or airport is needed. rather than that....everything is awesome. The only drawback of this hotel is its price. Although service is really good and the price is not very high, it is still rather high for a hostel. the street where the entrance is can be scary during the night if you are alone... padlocks : buy them for 5$, and the hostel buys them back for 2$. Why? Do locks get work out that fast?!. PCs did not have USB ports.In the one PC that did have USB ports, I could not find a way to get to My Computer, so I could not transfer photos from my camera to the PC. The rooms had too many beds in them. Expensive in comparison to equivalent in near by cities. 16 bed dorm that isnt stated anywhere until you are there No breakfast apart from cereal on the weekends Pillows aren't great. the bathrooms were kind costumes. Even at 12 am people were checking in and was a bit uncomfortable. But can't complain as i.t was a dormitory. a bit too expensive for dormitory bed. no free Internet for guests. PLEASE REFUND PRE AUTHORISATION CHARGE. no breakfast although mentioned on booking confirmation. No breakfast included. Visitors do not like was disturbed from songs all day in the hotel. too big dorms, mine was 24 beds!!!! and was smelling not so well...
