The room was small but very clean. The bed was quite comfortable and the bathroom had extra towels which was quite nice. The location of the hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants, shopping and sight seeing. Subways are around the corner. The staff is very polite and lets you know to call them if you need anything.
I have nothing negative to say about this hotel.
The location. Located on Canal Street. And it was walking distance to the World Trade Center, and a sudway ride to Time Square. And the front desk clerks were really helpful. I noticed some people complained about the noise.....but hey its New York, the city that never sleeps !!
It was perfect for what I needed on this trip to NYC
Comfortable Bed, Flat Screen tv with large choice of channels, Great Bathroom facilities, Secure safe to store belongings, Extremely fast free wifi and plenty of tea/coffee facilities.
Doors were heavy and were slammed shut by some other residents - maybe a sign in the room asking for residents to not slam door would help?
location was perfect for what I was there for.
The 1st night of my stay, the water pump was shutdown. Entire hotel did not have any water supply from 10 pm to 11am. I had asked to fix the problem right away. Unfortunately, I had suffered the serious water problem until next day.
Location
No frig
Location Facilities Relative peace
Price
Location was great I would stay again, so was not so bad.
Door slamming all through the night - some how you need to fix the doors so they do not slam so hard, very annoying, hard to sleep with that noise. Rooms very small, for the price... Could hear the subway rumbling, but if you are tired - like we were, you can go to sleep
good position, overall good experience
if you don't smoke, make sure you are asking for a nonsmoking room. i have not specified and i got a smoking room. the smell was really strong.
Great location, great breakfast & breakfast room, friendly staff
Room & bathroom are small
The staff was one of the best I have encountered. Very customer oriented, friendly and looked you in the eye with a smile when they spoke to you.
Well, the subway under the building was a bit of a distraction, but you became use to it after a bit. I thought the breakfast was a bit pricey, very tasty, but pricey. The gentleman stocking the bar(spirits) needs to expand to Crown Royal and a few others. Just my opinion...(ha ha)
Front desk service was very helpful. We were first timers to the city and they made great recommendations and were helpful when it came to giving us directions.
We were told this location was close to Time Square (over the phone) and it is anything but. Also we would have liked the breakfast to be included in the morning. For what we paid, we feel you could have spared a coffee and a bagel.
Location was great. Walkable distance to great things.
Location, staff, nearby most of the best places to eat in Little Italy.
Very Noisy. More Chinatown than Soho. A bit pricey
The friendly helpful staff, in particular Ivonne at the reception desk and her colleague Carl. Nothing was too much trouble.
The high cost of the small, no-view room on the 3rd floor at the rear of the hotel. $568 for 2 nights, plus taxes, is astronomical!
Great position. Your concierge downstairs particularly helpful
Noise! Size of room! We thought rooms all the same but our children ended up with the best one!
It is conveniently located at the end of Soho on the border with Chinatown and Little Italy. The staff is friendly and helpful
I booked a double room with two beds. Just in case, I sent an e-mail through letsbookhotel.com asking for separate beds. Despite that, I found only one bed and the hotel added an extra bed, but only for an additional fee
the bed was comfortable the room was quite design the staff was helpful
the view the poor bath product
Rooms were too small. Terrible price/value. Poor emenities. Not very clean. Would not recommend to others.
