  The seductively low prices led us to think we would be in a bog standard motel. It is much superior. The breakfasts are proper set-you-up jobs and keep you firing for hours.   surprised by the wonderful room lighting and modern look to the room. there is no question that this is a budget property. That being said it was still in pretty nice shape for a 3 year old roadside motel - Comfortable accomodations, very clean facility, friendly staff, all the necessities available, good variety of complimentary breakfast items.

  I loved the friendly staff. Heather who was at the front desk, went out of her way to let me check in early and even provided me with some refreshments while I waited. The rooms were clean and beautiful, the breakfast was great! The pool and hot tub very clean and well maintained.   The receptionist was very friendly and when we arrived 30 min early before check in she was able to get us into our room early and she made us feel very welcomed.   We loved the cottage style accomodation, friendly and helpfulness of staff, and everything else that makes a stay away from home acceptable. The staff was so willing to find us a larger cottage when we told them the "queen"" cottage was just too small for 2 people. A - Frio was very nice and roomy for us, our two daughters and our 3 grandchildren. The porch made the stay even more pleasant as we had a place to visit while the little ones were still sleeping.We loved the linen and trash pick-up and also the in-door pool as we did not have to worry about too much sun for the 1 and 5 year olds.
