I was excited about the reduced golf fees set up between the resort and thirty-two golf courses in the Myrtle Beach Strands. The rates were better than I could have received at the local Senior Center. As a single golfer, all I needed to do was go to the activities office, located on the second floor of the resort, and make my request for that day and the time I wished to play. The reduced rates took place after 1:30 P.M., but on two occasions when I arrived early, the golf starter at the cours.
所有评语 » The location of the hotel was great. It was not in the middle of the busy part of Myrtle Beach. The pools were nice and having the parking deck attached to hotel was nice since it was raining part of our trip. Staff was nice and rooms and hotel was clean and up to date. The size of the room & how it was very clean. The size of the indoor pools, lazy river, & that there was 3 hot tubs. The beds were soft and slept wonderful. Check in was very quick and the staff was helpful. Calfornia Pizza is located right next door. The room was exactly what I looked at online. I was so happy and surprised when I saw the room and the location! I was afraid it was "too good to be true" until we got there and was just what we were hoping for. This is the second time we have stayed at Long Bay Resort and it will not be the last. The rooms were large, bright and so clean. It was so nice to walk into a hotel room that smelled and felt fresh!. The set up of the room was really nice, partial ocean view was just as good as complete ocean view. I really liked the indoor pool and lazy river area and the fitness room was not at all bad either. The room that we had was excellent. I have no issues with this resort, and planning on going again and staying much much longer. Even the bar was awesome!!! I hated to leave. Very kid friendly. All the water activities on site were great. They had everything we needed on site. It was worth the money. We will definitely stay again. Staff was great, the place was clean and nice. the indoor lazy river and hot tubs were awesome. the food at the grill is very good also. my kids loved it. The ocean view from the room was great! The kitchen area and the roomy den/dining area was a plus also as we were getting ready for a wedding. Everything! You really don't have to leave the property. The beach, the pools, hot tubs, pool side bar, cafe, everything is right there!. Parking,the friendliness of staff , the price& the view of the ocean will have to stay in a better ocean view On next trip. Room was exactly as pictured, clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Great lazy river for the kids.. Great location. Facilities in very good shape. Excellent value for the price. We had a great time!. Kid friendly, and great staff. The Starbucks was great along with the restaurant being down stairs. The layout of the rooms were excellent every room had their own TV and the view of the beach. my stay was an excellent one.I had the best sleep in months.staff and food were top notch. I liked that even though the hotel was almost booked up, it was still quiet and relaxing. The hotel has several options for entertainment. A game room and a variety of pools. was clean, on the ocean, The pool water was a good temp. We had a good time. The staff was very helpful and nice, and my over experience was good. Everyone was so attentive and the location was great also. All of the facilities.The pools were clean and well kept. I had a great time while staying at the Long Bay Resort. The ocean view, upgrade to a suite. price, location, child activities. I like the location & price. The location and caring staff. pools and hot tubs. The room was okay. Everything. Room. I liked the fact that there were whirlpools, indoor pools, a restaurant, bar, starbucks, beach, and fitness room all in one place. Budget friendly, good for families, good location, Better for families than couples. On the beach, Starbucks next to lobby, nice desk staff. Roomy for the family, inside pool and game room. Multiple pool areas, availability of towels. Easy access to the beach. Indoor parking. I liked the pool area very nice!!!. Rooms were clean, friendly staff. Pools and ocean. I liked the pools and the parking. The parking deck went to the tenth floor and my room was on the ninth, so my car was right outside my room. The asst manager was very nice at least he listened to me and tried to help. How close it was to the ocean, the indoor pool and lazy river. Has a breakfast place attached to hotel. Location. The sofa/bed and chair in our room were not very comfortable. If you sat in these pieces of furniture for any length of time, you found yourself engulfed - like a Venus Flytrap in the chair or sofa. We did notice these very pieces of furnishings being removed in several rooms during our stay. The elevators were located in odd areas of hotel for rooms that were located on the ocean front. Our room was on first floor and we had a hard time getting from parking deck to our room through the elevator. Slow Wi-Fi & our fridge in room 438 was leaking water in the floor. It needed a little bit of updating on the furniture. No dislikes at all. it was time to go home. That we only had two bathrooms, could have used three, but we survived. There description of the view from the room. Very disappointed that we did not have a straight on view of the beach, our balcony was on the side of the hotel not the front of the hotel that looks over the beach. Was really looking forward to enjoying the balcony and the view :(. The only negative of our trip was that check was at 3:00 and our room was not ready until 5:00. The staff compensated by offering free breakfast buffet which was delicious.. Our room was messed up. We got put in the wrong room. The one we booked was all full. When we booked our room online it said ocean front, but when we got to the room there was a building blocking our view. The staff seems unorganized. Check in was suppose to be a 3 and an hour and half later we got into our room finally. Maybe they should increase the number of employees but it took them way to long to get us in our room because they wanted to check if our room was ready and we never got a discount or anything for waiting so long. Needed more/larger restrooms by the pool area. Lounge chairs were a little uncomfortable Stuck strict to the 3:00PM checkin. We arrived around 9:30 went back at 12, 1 and 2. Very fowl odor came into the room and lingered for around an hour. Also what looked like spoiled milk came up from both sides of the kitchen sink a day after the smell. Very disgusting what ever it was. Main pool being closed, mix-up on my room, and when I did get what I had reserved, the room reeked of fresh paint, that was because the person was still in the room painting. The suite's bathroom was very small and the carpet needed to be cleaned. balcony view, linens. The Internet service was horrible. I was hoping for a better view of the beach i had reserved an ocean view room but was put on the side of the building you could see the ocean but not very good. N/A. I booked a room looking out at the ocean and did not receive the room when I arrived. So my view was of another hotel. Also, the bar needs to be open later. bathroom was not as clean as it should have been; oceanview room was more a view of other buildings than ocean and the room was located on third floor above the indoor pool and recreation area so it was always noisy which is fine for family but not so good for couple. Asked about a room change and manager never returned call and the facility was not full. Pool too small for the size of the facility. No cotinental breakfast, fre alarm at 0200 in the morning. Cookies found on side of the bed, sink never got fixed while we were there so I couldn't use the kitchen and paint was falling from the ceiling. Sauna broken, children allowed in spas and sauna, non smoking in outside pool area, 35 minute wait time at check in, no remote in master br, smoke detector battery went off during middle of nap time, elevators took forever. Some staff were rude. Pool area had a foul smell & pool water was cloudy. The pool attendant (white male mustash ) was very rude he just about ruined my stay.. Rooms are really in need of an update, restaurant slow service and poor food choices for the prices, got a room that said ocean view and only way to view ocean was to hang over the balcony and try to look way to the left , parking was the pits, on second floor and had to park on level 6 and take elevator to our floor. Parking spaces way to narrow with so many trucks and SUV's more for the compact car. No info given about what's available when checked in. the sheets are rough, my air conditioner did not work, luckily it wasn't very hot outside. There was a leak under the kitchen sink and the sink was stopped up. I could hear the people above me and every time they turned their water on it sounded as though it was running into my room. That I paid for an oceanview and I got a parking lot. The manager there was very rude he just dismissed myself and my daughter like we didnt matter. And the fire alarms kept going off. It wasnt worth what we paid for it. Bed was hard and the room should not have been considered oceanview because u could only see the ocean if you stood in the corner on the balcony. Disappointed. My room 317 had lots of Mosquitos - even after informing front desk; they adviced that the room was sprayed - but my children were still bitten - medication was required for the bites. Not happy at this. Was charged more than quoted Staff was unfriendly / rude Refrigerator didn't work and we lost food Bad experience overall.
