  The staff without exception were very good, cheerful and helpful. We had a sea front room with large balcony but the decor was tired and needed up grading. The bathroom needed changing the toilet 1 cm from the door and should be moved to another wall. - I love the fact that we were able to get a ocean view room on short notice.   This hotel is the absolute best I've ever been to!!!!!! And I've been to a lot of hotels all around the world. The hotel is a whole lot better than you could se it on t - We had a suit and it had everything me and wife wanted, clean bathroom, jacuzzi and ocean view very nice. also every Saturday there's a pool party with live dj. If you want to avoid valet parking witch cost 38$ a day there's public self parking right next to the hotel for 1$ an hour from 8am-6pm after that it's free

  This hotel in Surfside had only been open 5 days, so they had a few kinks to get out of the system. This was more than made up for by the friendly and helpful staff.   As other reviewers have noted, the staff at Villa Italia are excellent - friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The location - just a block away from the major strips - is much quieter and less crowded than Ocean or Collins, yet easily accessible to the Deco district, beach, and restaurants. It's a small, simple, comfortable, convenient bou - I was two days in this hotel. It was a very good stayng. You can stay in a very quit zone near the Ocean Drive, with a lot services. Rooms are very confortable and clean. You can have all we found in other 5 star hotel, but in a smaller dimension. I liked very much for particular things, like: drinkings very researched, chocolate on the table, bed very relaxing, cream for body, liquid tooth cleaner,..... The receptionist was very kindly and helped with a lot of information.
