The young man at the front desk was very courteous and professional. I was impressed and he took good care of us. I wish I remembered his name. He was short with short hair. It was a rather old-fashioned, charming hotel. Very close to the beach and boardwalk. Good value. The breakfast was basic but good. The staff was accomodating. Well located, very friendly staff, charming and interesting decor, lovely roof terrace and pool allowing a peaceful escape from the hustle of South Beach should you need it. The whole hotel had a hint of the erotic which suited us very well. A little quieter and more peaceful than the beachfront hotels on Ocean drive - of course this is a trade-off from having a sea view but we considered this a better option.

The hotel's motto was "yes is the answer", what's your question ? The staff is friendly and professional especially those that work the front desk like Carol, Liam, Axel and William. There is always a bowl of "help yourself" fruit in the lobby along with USA Today Newspapers. Whether you choose continental breakfast or the upgrade breakfast, both hit the spot. The outdoor pool is nice but the hotel is downtown and a row of hedges separates the pool from the sidewalk.

I never used out of our in room bar and they promptly credited my
