The facility needs much updating. It has a great concept and wonderful staff..but the rooms need more than patch repairs to raise its stsndard. didn't use the pool but there were many who did and it was lovely. The lobby wad pretty and fun to sit in. .breakfast was terrific and the lady in charge was outstanding. .a shame she was working alone to police the public to keep homeless folks out..she was discreet and polite. AND she had to oversee the breakfast bar.
所有评语 » I usually try to stay at Red Roof Inn when I'm in Lubbock on business. The staff is great they go above and beyond your needs. There maybe needs some updating but as far as comfortable you can't beat it. Nice place to stay. The lady in the breakfast room is a doll, we have seen her every time we have stayed!!! What a good hire there!!! 14 years or maybe 15. Will hate to see her retire!. I enjoy my stay every time I am at Red Roof Inn. I enjoy your staff, they go above and beyond to help me out. The hotel staff were above-average helpful and friendly. The lobby was fun and relaxing. Great location right off of the highway; Friendly, helpful staff; Quiet, clean rooms. Location was easy to find and close to several food outlets. Price was outstanding. Friendly, helpful saff. Good breakfast selections. Very nice lobby. The room and bed were comfortable. Keys to rooms did not work at all in any of the rooms.Hotel is crying out for an update new paint and floors, beds, furniture, etc...had breakfast elsewhere did not trust to eat there looked unsanitary.Too bad our first trip to lubbock had a fault in hotel. I was in room 126. The bed was broken and several holes in the carpet. I stay at Red Roof Inn weekly and have found no complaints about other rooms I have stayed in. The mattress in our room was extremely uncomfortable. The facilities over all were a bit run-down and need some maintenance. The biscuits were hard as bricks and no newspaper available. Business center but the printer was broken. A $40 easy fix for your guests. Smell of urine and bleach in hall ways. Coffee pot in room did not work. Older motel and it had an unpleasant odor in the hallways and the pool area. The hotel use to be nice when I Came up to Lubbock for my sons college graduation. Stayed years ago but was very disappointed how run down it was. The exterior and interior were so outdated and falling apart!!! Please take pride in this hotel !!! It can be so nice if you just take time and put some money into it!. My reservation clearly stated check-in was for June 2, 2013. When we checked in, the desk clerk said we were a no-show for check-in on June 1, 2013. Somehow, between letsbookhotel.com and Red Roof Inn, the dates got changed around. Red Roof had charged our card for June 1st. They corrected that by not charging for June 2, our intended check-in time, so everything turned out OK., but what if they had been sold out?????????. The smell. Probably because it's so old but I think it was the smell from pool and I was feeling sick already but the smell made me gag literally & Puke. Other guests no concern for others slamming doors all the time at all hours.so didn't like that. no home training ugh. breakfast lady was kinda rude though. Broken entrance door,old rv living in parking lot,airconditioning not kept up. Ours didn't work first night. All airyou conditioners looked dirtydifferent from lobby. Ventilation in ceilingthe in badthe need ofto cleaning. We would have left if they hadn't changed our room. There was an exposed dirt pile in first floor halllway!. Floors in hallways and back entrance are dirty. Very dirty around outside trash receptacles at doors. Front entrance also dirty. The hotel showed its age and needs updated. The room was in need of fresh paint, new carpet, and better mattress. My daughter and I were traveling alone and when we entered through the back if the hotel the doors were not locked anyone could just enter. The beds in the room were very old I could literally feel the springs in the mattress. The second bed was very lumpy. The pressure in the shower was not strong and the white sheets were stained. :(. Slamming Doors. Kids running around. Room service came at 10 when checkout was at 12. Got a king size bed in a room you could barely walk through. Not Flat screen TV's even though they advertised it. Wifi didn't work at all and are still having issues with my bill( over charged). They have let this lovely motel run down. It needs a lot of "TLC". The place smelled bad. the bed was very uncomfortable. The room coffee pot was missing a vital part and front desk told me they were out of that part. Internet connection wasn't working. No worries when you pay under 50$. They weren't ready when we arrived, although I had (supposedly) made arrangements for 2:00 admittance because of traveling 8 hours & needing to freshen up before going to a funeral. There were other things that they weren't prepared for too. No hot water Hot tub didn't properly work Coke machine ate my money. The frige was not cleaned out. Old food was left in the room. it looked old and worn. Run-down facility; smelled bad when you walked in - like a dirty swimming pool. HOT & humid!! Beds were old and worn out - the whole place needs a facelift badly!!. Run down. Not clean. Entrance not clean. Exercise room should be closed. It reeked of smoke! There was bags of trash all over the hallways for extended periods of times. There was holes in the ground. The hotel bar had 9 year old kids in it from local drinkers at 1 in the morning baiting women to talk to their dad. Absolute tacky place. Hotel needs to be renovated. Extremely outdated. Disgustingly filthy. I think the owner is taking advantage of the fact that hotels fill up fairly easily due to football games and other activities. The owner needs to have some pride & clean up the place because he gives Red Roof Inn a bad name. I will never stay at a Red Roof Inn again because of my experience at the Lubbock location. Plenty! (1) TV was broken, but we did not want to move clear across motel to another room. (2) One of the double beds had a bad mattress, very lumpy and old. (3) We were overcharged by $10 on the promised rate. Will not stay at your motel again; sorry. I was not avle to take my breakfast to my room. I am not a morning person and with small children sometimes it is hard to sit with other people. Especially if they are in a hurry to get in and out, so the convience of being able to take the food to the room and let the kids eat in a more comfortable place is easier. $140 dollars for a $40 dollar room. the place smelled bad. Dont know where to start. Entire Inn was dirty. Fitness room had all broken equipment. Plants hanging inside by pool were all dead. Windows to rooms are filthy. Television was old and out dated. Paint on was are peeling. Pool was dirty water. Carpets throughout are old and dirty. We were disappointed in the breakfast, gravey was cold. Tables were all dirty. We had to clean our own to sit. I would never stay at the chain again. It needed updates. The furniture was broken, cracked. I was a single traveler and I was scared.... You could not sleep for the slamming of doors... Lobby was so hot you could not enjoy breakfast. Very poor condition. Holes in walls. Doors off hinges. No lights in the back parking lot. Very scary. I will not stay again. By the time I checked out my nerves were shot. Graffiti on bathroom wall, carpet, fire alarm dangling by wires no battery, bed didn't have a mattress pad, room furniture was miss matched (kinda thrown together). Entire site was polluted with cigarette smoke. Asked for non smoking was given smoking . Requested room change and was politely changed as verified on reservation " no smoking". Departed a day early the place smelled so badly of cigarettes. The linens were stained, my family would not get between the sheets. The TV was old and reception was bad until it eventually just quit working. Staff politely replaced. We definitely would not stay again or recommend. It would seem the place was under new Mgmt orbeing remodeled w/a long way to go ;-(. the hall smelled like urine and there were spots on the carpt that looked like dogs had defecated there. the room it'S self was not too bad, but but I stayed there as little as possible. it smelled bad in the room too. I will never stay there again. I booked the room with the understanding I would be charged 59.99 for the room. I was charged 79.99 2. pool facilities inoperable 3. room not clean 4. not enough towels and no staff to bring more to the room 5. difficult to find the front desk, and it was difficult to get into the building with our luggage... DIRTY, worn out mattresses, one shower did not even work, a/c did not work well, stained and nasty carpet, bad odor. The hotel is dirty, the wifi didn't work, the girl at the front desk didn't care if the wifi worked or not, she just said sorry. The hotel is filthy, it stinks. There was a prostitute out front, its not in a good neighborhood, they should allow people to stay there for free, even then I would not recommend. I was given a smoking room when I had preferred non, the beds were not comfortable, It was not worth the money I paid for this room, At breakfast was asked what my room number and no one else was asked. At check out I was charged a different rate and when reversed on my account since it was a bank Holiday it did not credit my account until Tuesday. Not a good experience at this Hotel. They didn't have a reservation for me and I had to go to another hotel, they were not willing to work with me either, the hotel was run down and quite nasty!. Sign outside not working so missed the narrow driveway. Location at junction of two freeways took 30 minutes to get back to the hotel. Hot tub and sauna not working, very disappointing after seven hours of driving. Pool had hair, feathers etc floating very unappealing. Ice machine on my floor non-functional. Soda machine also did not take bills or coins, not functional. WiFi only worked if you were sitting next to the front desk and then had poor signal and dropped you constantly.
