Attention to lovely detail throughout the space and our private room. Don't know where to begin. It was like stepping back in time in the best, most romantic way possible. Comfortable, elegant furnishings, warm lighting, wine, cheese, fireplaces, cookies, brandy nightcap, delightful breakfast and staff.... The perfume scent of detergent on the sheets was the only thing I would change. I am very chemically sensitive, and it is difficult to breathe in a bed with sheets that smell like "Tide," or whatever the commercial brand in use is. This is a common problem when staying in small b&b's.
