Regarding location, some might find the surrounding industry/depot businesses disturbing, but you cannot beat the stunning view of the Manhattan skyline, you have from all rooms and the rooftop-terrace. The location was perfect, close to the subway, (local 7 train straight to grand central and time square in about 10-15 minutes) neighbourhood is ok, despite the looks of it. We travelled with a baby and a toddler and didn't have any problems at all, didn't feel unsafe... Small, clean room with a view...
