The B&B owner checked us in and was fantastic. He provided us a
map of the surrounding areas and gave us a number of recommendations
for restaurants. Our room was upgraded for free. In addition to the
amazing breakfast, there were always treats on hand and an honor bar
with beer on tab and wine available. The building is amazing and our
room and bathroom were fantastic. The location is a few lovely blocks
from trolley line. We would definitely stay there again and would
recommend it.

Loved it, gave us a great experience of New Orleans. Staff was helpful in helping us plan trips around city. Building was cute gave us an old new orleans feel. Location was great being walking distance to french quarter but still in part of town where one could escape the tourist traps. Wonderful stay. -

It was realy nice to stay in Sweet Olive during our vacation. We (me and my girlfriend) were there for a weekend and we both enjoyed the stay. A relaxed, quiet and friendly oasis with easy access to all New Orleans has to offer. Nancy is a charming hostess and a great cook (her orange/cranberry bread is to die for). The breakfast is healthy and delicious, and there's plenty of time to enjoy it in this charming house. Lots of thoughtful little extras like the library, and beer/wine/soft drinks in the fridge. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend Auld Sweet Olive.
