  When we arrived we were allowed to check in two hours early, and were given the choice of two different rooms - that was very kind and we got a big room as a result. The location is pretty great as long as you don't mind a bit of walking, but that's the same across New York. A bit expensive, but again, that's just New York. Unbeatable for this price. Plenty of foodshops around. The staff: the receptionists were extremely friendly and helpful (thanks Joey! ;-) + they can arrange transport to the airport, which was extremely helpful. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely go back there on a next trip to NYC.

  Very nice flat at Times Square which provides the possibility to experience life in NYC much more than a "normal" hotel room.   I travel to NYC about 10 times a year. I have hotels at which I customarily stay, but this trip came up suddenly and everything was sold out or exorbitantly expensive. I found the Pearl based on two criteria -- it was not as expensive as some of the other hotels and it was highly ranked by both travelers and star ratings.   The location is brilliant indeed - some few steps from the Times Square. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would like to specially mention and thank Trinita, who checked me in much earlier that she was supposed to. It is a perfect choice once you are not going to spend all day long in a room and only need some rest after sightseeing. Will definitely stay here again when next time in ny. - Wonderful location 5 minutes walk from Times Square. Small but comfortable and very clean room. Facilities like shower, hair-dryer and alarm clock worked properly. Air- conditioning and a fan-heater were provided. Really lovely staff on the front desk - they went to a lot of trouble working out transport arrangements for us and finding out about museums we wanted to visit. Simple but nice continental breakfast.

  Very friendly and extremely helpful staff. Fantastic location. Very nice room. Very well kept and looked after while we were there. Never felt intruded upon by house keeping. They came in while we were out. We always had fresh bath linens and the room was always spotless. We visited two other hotels in the area were relatives and friends were staying.   At the desk, Dennis verified my information quickly and was quite friendly (I've been to enough hotels in NYC to recognize when I'm not a "room number" [based on the amount I have paid for a room] vs a "real person" [treated as if it didn't matter which room I paid for. Loved the room, the comfort and if you want to be treated like a person, not a number? Ask for Dennis at the Tuscany OR Jen - Stayed here for a couple of days before dropping my daughter to summer camp. The staff here are so welcoming and bend oer backwards to please. We were upgraded upon arrival. The rooms and bathrooms in this hotel are huge compared to most rooms in Manhattan and the decor is funky yet comfortable. The location is fabulous. 3 minutes to Grand Central Station and about 10 minutes to Macys. I love this hotel so much that I'm going back in 3 weeks to stay for a week!!!
