  This hotel is absolutely wonderful- a breath of fresh air. From the time we arrived early to the time we checked out the entire stay was so easy. The Hudson Suite was well-designed and filled with light - quite different from other Manhattan suites we have stayed in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were surprised how close we were to the theater district.

  We live 60 plus miles from the city and have come in often for weekends and stayed in numerous hotels over the years.   Hotel 414 was great! We visited in July 2013 for 8 days. We found all the staff to be super friendly and helpful. They gave us several maps, made recommendations for nearby restaurants and Broadway shows and helped us book our train to DC. The breakfast was great! I loved that we had a fridge in our room too because I could buy my own lactose free milk and keep it in there to bring down for breakfast - 1.Great location in Midtown, it's right near everything; broadway shows,public transport, numerous restaurants, etc. 2. It's quiet; we had a room on the 3rd floor facing the courtyard and there was little noise from outside, or, from other rooms 3. It's reasonably priced. We stayed for 11 days and the total accommodation bill was great for a central Manhattan hotel 4. It feels more like a B & B than a big hotel which I much preferred 5. A good continental breakfast was included in the room

  I had a problem with the reservation in the holiday inn express manhattan, they contacted me and fixed all for me being very gentle. I arrived and always was perfect. The location is half block from 5th ave., Two blocks from brodway center and all is near. Very security zone all hours and all near. The personal is very gentle and always help for directions and conections, great experience - The staffs are polite, cheerful, helpful and friendly. They are just fantastic The location is excellent. Ideally placed, within walking distance to the happening places yet is also quiet which made it easy to sleep. Though the room is not very spacious but is comfortable. Well a hotel that I recommend for business or vacation. I would happily go back again.
