  It was our first time with my friend in New York and the hotel was perfect for us as it was 10 minutes walk to time square. We would walk easily from time square to the hotel after 12am. The room was small but we loved that it was perfectly clean. The room I got I didn't like (close to elevator door and TV not straight in from of bed). They upgraded me to quieter corner room.
