  I'm not sure why this hotel doesn't get better reviews. My girlfriend and I stayed for two days and had a great experience. The staff was friendly, the location was great, room was clean and updated. We stayed in room 404, which I highly recommend. Good continental breakfast, with fresh fruit, pastries, and bagels, bread, preserves etc. Great location for walking to Fishermans Wharf etc, or the great value bus into the city.

  I absolutely LOVED everything! It was beautiful from the moment I first saw it, before I even walked inside. It was so easy to get to from BART and in a perfect location. The entire staff was sincerely friendly, kind, helpful and seemed to only know how to say "Yes, of course we can".   We had a wonderful stay with our family- the rooms are bit cramp, but we knew this. We wanted to stay near union square and that we did. We were able to really enjoy everything in walking distance. We would return again.
